Dale Robert Kuil, 76, passed away on May 8, 2019, in Modesto, California leaving behind his loving wife of 55 years, Eileen.
   He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mikkayla. Dale is survived by his sister Mary (Fred) Coito of Ripon. Dale is also survived by his sons, Greg (Jill) Kuil and Matthew Kuil both of Ripon. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Lauren (Ken) Peelman, Gregory Kuil and Anthony Kuil and his two great-grandchildren, Holden Dale Peelman and Rosie Peelman. Holden proudly tells everyone his middle name is “Dale” after his Papa.
   Dale was a lifelong Ripon resident. He graduated from Ripon High School and began working as a farmer at the age of 16 on his family farm and as he continued to farm into adulthood. He became a crop adviser for over 50 years.  Dale was an extremely hard worker and was a member of many local boards and committees. He retired from the Ripon Unified School District Board as a Trustee after 21 years. He currently was a member of the Salida Hulling Association, South San Joaquin Irrigation District and Tri-Dam Power Authority. He was an active member of the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau Federation and Blue Diamond Almond Association. Dale was one of the original members of the Ripon Livestock Boosters. He was also a member of the Ripon High Agricultural Advisory Board.
   Dale was a mentor to many people. Dale always had a smile on his face and would give you the shirt off of his back. He treated everyone with kindness. Dale was a devoted husband, loving father and admired grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Valley Children’s Hospital of Modesto, 9300 Valley Children’s Place- PC17, Madera, California 93636 (Please put a note on the donation that says “Pelandale/Modesto”). A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 1pm to 6pm at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, California. A mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 CA-120, Ripon, California on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 S.
