Fae Eleanor Hogrefe, 98, entered into rest on Aug. 17, 2009 in Manteca.

She was born on May 28, 1911 in Manteca. She was a resident of Manteca for 98 years.

Mrs. Hogrefe joins her husband in heaven, Edwin Hogrefe, as well as her siblings Helen Lewis and Donald Funkhouser.
Mrs. Hogrefe is survived by her nieces and nephews, Steven Dolcater of Manteca, Deanne Taylor of Redding, Loretta House of Grants Pass, OR., and Carole Stoker of Manteca. Her great-nieces and nephews are Michael Stoker, Gary Stoker, Dennis Taylor, Kathy Edwards, Jeff Taylor, Greg Taylor, Kenny House, David House and Kim O’Brian.

Mrs. Hogrefe had a wonderful sense of humor and was always dependable to her family and friends. She was fabulous at sewing and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved a great challenge of putting jigsaw puzzles together.
