Kenneth Franklin Burton passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020 in Ripon, California at the age of 89.         Ken was born on April 7, 1930 in Blue Rapids, Kansas to parents Franklin and Eva Burton.
   Ken’s family moved to Ripon in 1939. He graduated from Ripon High School and enlisted in the US Army. Ken served in Korea from 1951 to 1953. After being discharged, Ken went to work for Meyenburg Milk Company and then Nestles until he retired 40 years later. Ken was a founding member of Ripon Grace Church where he wore many hats. Later Ken started attending Big Valley Church in Modesto. On his time off, Ken enjoyed working on the family farm, traveling, camping and working in his yard and garden. Ken was a kind and loving man who was faithful to his family and God, he will be deeply missed.
   Ken leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Jeanette Burton, his children, Steve Burton, Cathy Boyd (Dennis), Danny Burton (Anacelia), Kim Boyd (Mike) and Kaye Patterson (Richard), along with 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Ken also leaves behind his siblings, Willard Burton, Peggy Alldrin, Roger Burton and Gloria Dooley.
   Ken is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Bonnie Faye, Lula Mae, Lois Margaret, Rex Lorain, Victor Paul and Margie Ellen and his granddaughter, Cassie Ann.
   Deegan Funeral Chapels is honored to serve the Burton family. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Big Valley Grace Church, 4040 Tully Rd., in Modesto, CA
