Richard “Dick” C. Sanders passed away in Stockton on October 22, 2016. Born in Ada, OK he served his country honorably in the Korean War. He then served over 40 years as a pastor of several Baptist churches.
   He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Ida Sanders; sons David Sanders (Lori), Dwight Sanders, Dwain Sanders (Cindy), Dean Sanders (Dawn); grandchildren Ryan, Coleman, Jaclyn, Erin, Adam, Amanda, Anna, Chase, Bethanie, Matthew, Megan, Caitlyn; great-grandchildren Lushen, Emma, David, Ella, Jack, Luke, Faith, Caleb, Isaac, Averie; and by his sister Sally Moore.
   Dick was preceded in death by his grandson Billy Sanders, one sister and three brothers. 
   A memorial service to celebrate his new life with Christ will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Linden First Baptist Church, 19163 E. Hwy 26,
in Linden.
