Sierra steamrolls EU High

David Reyes pulled in a 62-yard scoring pass from Caden Worth for the Sierra freshmen on the game’s first play from scrimmage Thursday to set the tone in a 46-0 Valley Oak League freshman win over East Union at Dino Cunial Field.

 Before seeing his season end with a broken leg in the second quarter, Reyes pulled in another touchdown pass from Worth, this one from 20 yards out. Worth (4 for 5 passing, 131 yards; six carries, 72 yards) added a touchdown pass to Daemon Duran (four carries, 61 yards)  and had touchdown runs of 1 yard and 25 yards.  Cameron Allen (six carries, 45 yards) rounded out the Timberwolves scoring parade with a 5-yard touchdown run.

 Duran and Jordan Black each had four tackles for Sierra. Reyes had two tackles and an interception and teammate Dylan Tolentino a sack.



Central Catholic 36, Lathrop 0

Antonio Marquez and Ian Lum each had a touchdown for the Spartans.

 Ayiende Dukes, Ramon Kaweiss and Andres Villegas each had a sack for Lathrop. Leonnee Linnell hit Lum with a 24-yard pass and Stanley Becerro with a 16-yard catch.



Manteca 44, Gregori 0

 Kyle Rachels threw for 127 yards for the Buffaloes, completing all four of his passes that included a pair of touchdowns.

 Rachels had an 84-yard pass to Matthew Ender and one of seven yards to Pressley Keltner.  The other four Manteca touchdowns came on runs of 1yard by Ben Rea, 10 yards by Ferrin Manulelua, 39 yards by Seth Owings (six carries, 58 yards) and 46 yards by Kobe Shippley (four carries, 76 yards). 

 Manulelua and Cameron Allison had four tackles apiece with Vincent Ferro (intereception) and Justin Kakala each making three stops.

Ripon 19, Calaveras 8

Michael Winters filled in at quarterback for an injured Donnie Cooksey to lead the Indians to the non-league win.

 Ripon racked up 224 yards of total offense with a 3-yard scoring run by Nick Myers, and a18-yard touchdown run by Dylan Sexton and a 6-yard scoring pass from Winters to Juvenito Raygoza.
