Sonora showed up at Manteca High Wednesday and showed what Wildcat tennis is all about in a 15-0 win over the upstart Buffaloes.
Hilary Coleman put up the best fight in her matches with Sonora’s No. 1 and No. 3 players.
“Hilary played some of the best tennis I have ever seen her play,” Manteca head coach Mary Ann Tolbert said. “She worked the court well and made them earn each and every point.”
Jasmine Sandhu played through a sore back, and gave Sonora’s No. 3 a scare in a 5-7 loss.
Manteca dropped to 2-4 in Valley Oak League play and 4-4 overall.
The Buffaloes head to Manteca Park Golf Course this afternoon to meet Lathrop.
