Gabbi Ilardi finished 1-over-par 32 Tuesday at Jack Tone Golf Course, leading the Ripon girls golf team’s dominant 153-231 win over Summerville.
The Indians improved to 2-0 in the Valley Foothill League North Division. The top five scores of the dual match all went to Ripon.
Following Ilardi was Katie Martin with a 38. Vivian Parsons, Aaliyah Martinez and Ana Fisher checked in with a 41, 42 and 43, respectively.
Ripon faces Escalon on the road Thursday.
YOUTH FOOTBALL
Jr. Buffaloes 51, Ceres Bulldogs 31
John Ellis and the Jr. Buffs could not be stopped in the rookies-division contest.
Ellis compiled 227 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. Aris Masudi contributed 119 yards and three scores of his own on just 10 carries. Navi Murrilo added 66 yards and two TDs on 13 attempts.
Quarterback Brach Carabello completed 4 of 5 passes for 35 yards, adding two carries for 16 yards. The team totaled 412 rushing yards and had 31 minutes, 12 seconds of possession thanks to the offensive line of Francisco Diaz, Gabriel Torres, Luis Ornelas, Christopher Rice and Franklin Archuleta.
Monoah Ellis highlighted the defense with nine tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. Masudi recorded eight tackles and three sacks.
