Duzenack leads Visalia to win over Stockton

VISALIA (AP) — Camden Duzenack had three hits and two RBI as the Visalia Rawhide beat the Stockton Ports 9-4 on Friday.

Visalia started the scoring in the first inning when Jazz Chisholm hit a two-run home run.

After Visalia added two runs in the second, the Ports cut into the deficit in the fifth inning when Sandber Pimentel hit a two-run home run and Kevin Merrell hit a sacrifice fly.

With the score tied 4-4 in the sixth, the Rawhide took the lead for good when Anfernee Grier hit an RBI single, driving in Pavin Smith.

Visalia starter Connor Grey (11-9) picked up the win despite allowing four runs and six hits over six innings. Opposing starter Kyle Friedrichs (2-3) took the loss in the California League game after a rough outing in which he allowed eight runs and nine hits over 5 1/3 innings.

For the Ports, Pimentel homered and singled, driving in two runs.
