After a spirited 12-6 win on and off the field for Northgate over Sunrise of Stockton in the championship round of the Section 6 Junior All-Star Tournament at Howard Park, the two teams will clash again tonight at 5:30 to see who gets the banner and continues the post-season in Healdsburg and who goes home with just a pin.
Trailing 4-3 going into the fourth inning Northgate added four runs and never looked back. Noah Navarro tripled in the fourth for Northgate with Israel Leon belting a double and Dominick Summerville (2 for 4, run), Anthony Oteri and Chris Chavez (3 for 5, double, two runs) legging out singles.
Northgate added two more runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Turlock American 14, Manteca 4 (4)
Turlock converted eight first-inning hits into 10 runs on the way to the four-inning mercy-rule win to claim the championship banner.
Manteca got all of its run in the third inning. Brody Carabello and Jeremy Cross doubled with singles by Alberto Cervantes and Brixton Ortiz. Cervantes, Carabello, Mateo Ceja and Ortiz scored.
Jay Aranzo (3 for 3, double, two runs), Cameron Henard (3 for 3, double, run), Brayden Keyler (2 for 2, double, two runs) and Aiden de Los Santo (2 for 2, double, run) led the hit parade for Turlock.
