STOCKTON – It’s common knowledge that every new car driven off of the lot depreciates drastically.

Not a single car in the Hertz fleet remains is used for rentals for longer than a year, and all that have exceeded their tenure are sent to a sales facility where they are inspected for everything from mechanical problems to obvious dings and dents.

Those that don’t pass the inspection, Enea said, are unloaded through other channels – meaning that only the cream of the crop ends up on a Hertz Car Sales lot.
