Brethren Brewing Co. is hosting two separate meet and greets featuring the candidates for the upcoming Nov. 3 Manteca mayoral election.

*Tonight, July 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. will feature Mayor Gary Singh.

*Friday, July 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. will feature challenger Jacob Naven.

Brethren Brewing, 220 North Main, is billing the two gatherings as “a non-partisan time of questions and conversation with local candidates.”

Singh and Naven are the only declared candidates for mayor so far.

The November ballot also includes the District 4 council seat — Manteca generally north of Louise Avenue — as well as District 3 that is roughly the 1970s city limits.

Incumbents Mike Morowit (District 4) and Dave Breitenbucher (District 3) are the only declared candidates so far.
