Supervisor Sonny Dhaliwal is seeking to secure $34,114 for nine community non-profits.

Dhaliwal, who represents Manteca, Lathrop and parts of northwest Stockton, is asking the Board of Supervisors Tuesday to approve:

*$7,500 for St. Paul's United Methodist Church Food Pantry to support food assistance services for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

*$2,500 for Annapurna Valley Kitchen to assist with equipment necessary to establish a community meal service facility in Manteca.

*$2,000 for Rotary Club of Manteca – Scouting America Troop 828 to purchase essential camping equipment supporting youth outdoor and educational activities.

* $2,500.00 for The Filipino Community of Manteca (TFC) to purchase community event equipment supporting cultural programming and community outreach.

*$2,000 for Busy Mom Athlete Fund to assist with youth sports registration fees for underserved and low-income youth athletes.

*$5,114 for STOP Human Trafficking to support human trafficking awareness materials, educational outreach, and community-based prevention initiatives.

*$5,000 for River Islands High School Booster Club to purchase equipment supporting fundraising activities, community outreach, and student programs.

*$5,000 for Friends Outside – San Joaquin Furniture Bank to support first-year general and vehicle insurance costs associated with establishing the furniture bank.

*$2,500 for Adaptable Athletics to purchase adaptive sports equipment supporting inclusive recreational programming and community outreach.
