Gracie Jaime is the new ASB Executive Board member of the Ripon Unified School District.

School board President Caroline Hutto had the honors of administering the oath of office to the Ripon High senior at the board’s last meeting.

Jaime’s vote will count on agenda items for the exception of personnel matters. She was thrilled to take her seat alongside elected leaders and district officials.

“Welcome to the board,” Superintendent Ziggy Robeson said.

Jaime has been active in leadership during her years at RHS, serving as junior class president last year.

Despite being off campus during these times of distance learning, she is making the most of her senior year.

Jaime, in addition to the school board, is president of the Multicultural Club and involved in the Science Olympiad and Yoga Club, to name a few.

She’s also taking AP classes, with hopes of attending one of the UC campuses after graduation.
