The Ripon Police Department just announced its Christmas Present Delivery Program.

Local police are seeking donations of new unwrapped toys and clothing to provide as gifts to Ripon families.

“With the abundance of support and participation from our community donating to the program, the department will be able to reach several families that are in need this year,” said the Ripon Police Department via social media on Monday.

Donated items may be dropped off in the department lobby (259 N. Wilma Ave.) anytime – or 24/7 – during the day.

The staff of RPD will be organizing the collection of items in the coming weeks. Deliveries are scheduled to take place on the evening of Dec. 21.

Those who or know of any family in need of extra help during this holiday season can contact CSO Forks directly at 209.599.0271 or email SantasHelpers@cityofripon.org to be included in the program.

The deadline for families wishing to participate is Dec. 13 – that’s to ensure that gifts will be sorted, wrapped, and prepped for delivery.
