October is the last month for a three-day watering schedule for the City of Ripon.
After that, residents will go on once a week — weekends-only based on the odd / even address number -- from November to the end of February.
This is all part of the city-wide conservation efforts set forth by the Ripon City Council in recent years.
The baseline-comparison figures each month were taken from pre-drought 2013 for that month.
At Tuesday's meeting, Director of Public Works James Pease announced the water reduction figure for September was at 17 percent less usage.
As for the running 12-month tally, residents' usage was down 18 percent.
