The annual Harvest Festival at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church is coming.
The three-day special event begins on Friday, Sept. 14, on the parish grounds at 505 E. North St. in Manteca.
As usual, the Harvest Festival – St. Anthony’s biggest fundraiser of the year – will feature an array of multi-cultural foods, including tacos, tamales, lumpia, and adobo, to name a few, along with fun and game booths.
Sister Ann Venita Britto and her Ministry of Caring will be hosting a silent auction. The group consisting of Sister Ann, Mel and Judy Abrew, and Pat Trone helped put together the over 30 gift baskets to go with the other items up for grabs.
The Harvest Festival will also have Bingo and pull tabs available for adults along with some refreshing beverages.
The featured entertainment along with the festival hours are as followed:
Friday, Sept. 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. / Family karaoke.
Saturday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. / The Mike Torres Band.
Sunday, Sept. 16, from noon to 6 p.m. / Live auction, talent show on Main Stage (2 p.m. to 3 p.m.).
The Harvest Festival finale will be announcing of the top prize winners for the big raffle (500 tickets were sold at $100 each).
Grand prize is $10,000 followed by $2,000 second prize, and $1,000 each for the third-, fourth- and fifth- place winners.
