The New York Diamonds jewelry store in the Wal Mart shopping center was robbed during the noon hour on Monday with an undetermined amount of jewelry stolen.
Manteca Police indicated staff at the shop in the 1100 block of South Main Street said they became uneasy when one man entered their front door  and looked through the ring cases, went outside and another entered the store and they both asked to look at expensive items in a display case.
Officers said one of the men shoved the clerk out of the way as she was showing items, grabbed the jewels quickly and they both ran out of the building and got into a gold Kia and fled through the parking lot. 
The men were described as tall thin African American males about 6-foot apeice.  The value of the jewelry was undisclosed.
