Antonio (Tony) Giovanni Mola, 90, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at home in Turlock after living with Alzheimer’s for 15 years. He will always be remembered for making everyone laugh.  Dementia may have taken away his memory, but it could never take away his love for his family or his ability to make people smile.
Tony was born on June 16, 1929 in Verres, Italy to Aurelia and Giovanni Mola. He worked for Aerojet and OXY/Simplot for 40+ years.  He was past President of Manteca Men’s Golf Club. He also was a S.H.A.R.P for Manteca Police Department, something which he was very proud of.
He is survived by his selfless and loving wife of 49 years, Alicia and his three daughters, Adriana (Jessie) Hernandez, Arabella (Lenny) Whitlock and Liliana (Chris) Hagen.  He absolutely adored his 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Courtney and Rebecca Whitlock, Ana Miguel Rodriguez, Alyson, Brett Christopher Giovanni and Carly Hagen.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff of Covenant Care at Home Hospice for the loving care they provided to Tony. We will forever be grateful.
If you so choose, in lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to Covenant Care at Home Hospice, 125 N. Broadway, Suite 1A, Turlock, CA 95380, in memory of Tony Mola.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, from 4-7 p.m.  A memorial service will take place on Monday, October 14, at 11 a.m.  Both services will take place at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock. A private interment will be held for Tony’s family.
