Bill Carson 84, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 in Manteca. He was born on April 29th, 1926 in McFarland, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents W.T. and Carrie Carson as well as siblings Leda Carson, Robert Carson and granddaughter Meagan Rogers.

 Bill leaves behind his loving companion and wife of the last 26 years Rosie Rogers. His children are Terry L. De Ruyter and husband Cornie, Karen T. Marler and husband Stephen, Scott W. Carson and wife Lisa, stepchildren; Alfred Rogers Jr. and companion Tammy Woods, Lisa Rogers and companion Robert Cardoza.  

He was blessed with 14 grandchildren; Chris, Brian, Andrea, Stephanie, Johnathan David(JD), Sarah, Jeremy, Cole, Frank, Devon, Baylee, and Syddra. Bill also had 5 great-grandbabies.  

 Bill was a World War II veteran serving his country proudly for 4 years through The Corporal 2nd Infantry Regiment. Bill then went to work for Fonseca Farms for over 48 years operating heavy farm equipment.  The Fonsecas were Bill’s second family. He worked alongside Albert Fonseca and his grandsons. Bill was a man of many interests who lived a wonderful life. He was the Chaplain for VFW post 6311 for 14 years. Bill was a loyal Raider fan never missing a breathtaking game. He and his wife Rosie enjoyed taking long drives to contemplate the different sceneries. Bill was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, but most of all he was a friend to all.

Arrangements for Mr. Carson are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Services will be held at a later date. For condolences to the family please visit our web-site at www.plfryandson.com.
