Christine Marsman Leon passed away peacefully on January 24, 2017 in Hughson, California at the age of 53 after her battle with cancer.  Christine was born on June 27, 1963 to Albert and Patsy Marsman. Christine lived in Ripon for 46 years until moving to Modesto seven years ago. 
   Christine spent time with the California Conservation Corp and worked for the Disabled Children’s Daycare and Bethany Home in Ripon.  For the past 15 years, Christine worked for Crestwood Manor as an LPT.  On her free time, Christine loved spending time outside and hanging out by the river.
Christine leaves behind her father, Albert Marsman, her children Amanda Camarena of Manteca and Natasha (Barnes) Mueller of Ripon, her grandson, Jackson Weston and her siblings, Deanna Vander Weide of Arizona and Albert Marsman also of Arizona.
   Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels.  A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel.                     Donations in Christine’s name may be made to Crestwood Manor Modesto, 1400 Celeste Dr., Modesto, CA 95355.
