Margaret Grace Stevens Meninga entered her heavenly home on January 7, 2017. Margaret was born at her grandmother’s house in Ripon, CA on December 14, 1921 to Peter and Ettje (Beuving) Stevens.               
   Margaret is survived by her three children, Ted (Faythe) of Boise, ID and their children, Tom Meninga and Joel (Natalie) Meninga; Linda (Jon) Van Tol of Ripon, CA and their children Julie (Shannon) Vrieling and Sheri (Drew) Erwin; Edith (Pete) Vander Meulen of Escalon, CA and their children Phillip (Henrietta) Vander Muelen, Lisa Vander Muelen, and Steven (Amy) Vander Meulen. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and her sister Ruth Stevens of Fondse.
   Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Meninga, in 1998.
   Margaret was a lifelong member of First Christian Reformed Church in Ripon, CA. She served as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and attended many Bible study groups. She especially enjoyed being editor of “Caring and Sharing” and a committee member making plans for their new church building. She enjoyed photography and painting wildflowers, traveling in the states and abroad, and most of all, being with family and friends.
   A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at
9:30 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery, 320 North Stockton Avenue, in Ripon.
A memorial service will follow at First Christian Reformed Church, 305 West Boesch Drive, in Ripon. In lieu of flowers, if you are inclined, please send donations in Margaret’s memory to Ripon Christian Schools or First Christian Reformed Church Mission Fund.
