Mary Elizabeth Garris, age 92, died in June 25, 2019. She was born on November 14, 1926 in Oklahoma. She moved to Manteca in 1958. She was a homemaker and served as a Sunday school superintendent at the Nazarene church 56 years.
She is survived by her three children, Patrick Garris of Arkansas, Sue Lambert of Oregon, and Gail Gillit of California. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Cooper of Manteca. Mary has eight grandchildren and 11 great-grand- children.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father Gladys and Patrick McLaughlin, brother James “Bud” McLaughlin, sister Jean Wickman and Dorothy Keller, and daughter Dorothy Wheeler.
A memorial service will be held on July 27, 11a.m. at Journey Church, 444 Argonaut St.
