Miguel Soto, 41, entered into rest on January 12, 2017 in Stockton. He was born on November 2, 1975 in San Francisco, California.  In heaven he joins his grand- father, Miguel Rodriguez and grandmother, Celia Dean.
   Miguel leaves behind his loving parents, Richard Soto of Stockton and Enriqueta “Queta” Soto of Manteca and grandmother, Victoria Rodriguez. Miguel leaves his siblings, Jose Zavala (Jasmine) of Tracy; Scott Soto Mcloud of SC and Enriqueta “QueQui” Soto of Manteca/Tracy. He has six nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Vanessa Zavala, Jordan Gomez-Zavala, Nikalett Zavala, Joshua Gomez- Zavala, Bella Bartlett-Soto and Elia Graciano Soto, as well as one great grandniece, Amaya Zavala-Valvede. Miguel also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him immensely. 
   Miguel was raised in Tracy, where he attended grammar and High School. He served his country proudly through the United States Navy and would later pursue a career as a Probation Officer in Modesto and most recently as a teacher at Richard Pittman Elementary School for Stockton Unified School District. Miguel had an incredible ability for learning. Anything he would put his mind to, he would accomplish. Dependable and with the utmost integrity, Miguel was true to his word and always followed through. He was the sunshine of his family-funny and  continuously joking around. He was a true Oakland Raiders fan and cheered them on during their last season. He will be remembered as an amazing son, wonderful brother and special uncle. He will be truly missed.
   P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Soto family. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A service will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at C.W.C., 786 Button Ave., Manteca, CA. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Park View Cemetery, 3661 East French Camp Road (off 99), Manteca, CA.
