Roslyn K. Sage, 79, of Manteca passed away due to natural causes on December 31, 2010 at her residence in Manteca.  Born Roslyn K. Franklin on March 14, 1931 in San Francisco she has called Manteca her home for the past 40 years.


Roslyn was a telephone operator at Sharpe Army Depot for 27 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, ceramics and was an animal lover - especially cats.  She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains especially when there was snow on them.


Her survivors include her husband of 37 years Richard Sage of Manteca; her children: Sandra Vinzant of Oregon; Penny Troxell and her husband Don of Lodi; and Stephen Thomas of Manteca; her step-daughter Sheila Barnes of Sacramento; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.


Fry Memorial Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Tracy Mausoleum 8842 W. Schulte Road, Tracy.  Her final resting place will be at Tracy Mausoleum.  An online guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com to send your condolences to the family.
