Shirley M. Allen, 71, passed peacefully away on Sunday, March 22, 2009.
She was born in Ontario, Canada on January 17, 1938. Ms. Allen leaves behind her children, Donna Allen Cardoza and husband Rafael of Concord, Dennis Allen and wife Casey of Stockton, Dianna Larson and husband Donald of Oregon, and Doyle Allen of Manteca; sixteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Shirley was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a strong willed and spirited woman, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting, and gardening. Shirley also loved watching her favorite actors John Wayne and Perry Mason in all the classic and western movies.
Shirley will be dearly missed by all who were truly blessed to know and love her. In honoring her wishes all services are private. P.L.
