The Lathrop City Council bickering in public is so embarrassing. On the other hand, if Lathrop officials want deep-seated revenge toward Manteca, I suggest they might score big by bringing a Trader Joe’s store to this area. Frankly, anywhere in Lathrop is fine with me.

While I’m thinking of suggestions, what would it take for the Bulletin to include on its front page the date of Manteca’s next city council election or the next local election, period? The small space where you publish the picture for the week’s Toter pick-up might be fine, if ironic.
