Manteca completed a season sweep of rival Sierra, but the rematch was much closer in the 289-293 victory for the Buffaloes at Manteca Park Golf Course on Monday. 

Manteca (3-2), which won by 21 strokes in the first meeting, was led by Haighley Kissee’s 51 on the par-37 front nine. Bryanna Vavino of the Timberwolves (2-4) was low medalist with a 50.

Also scoring for the Buffs were Sierra Martinez (56), Taylor Reed (57), Bella Gonzales (62) and Kylee Eberle (63).

Legacy Barnes (57), Kaitlyn Looney (59), Hailee Looney (63) and Aubrey White (64) rounded out scoring for Sierra, which next hosts Lathrop on Thursday. Manteca returns to action today against East Union.
