The Manteca Little League Brewers earned their third title of the season Saturday at Las Palmas Ball Fields in Patterson.

Jacob Moon laced a bases-loaded, walk-off single to drive in Tony Taiariol and secure the District 67 Tournament of Champions minor-division banner with a 7-6 victory over the Tracy American Tigers.

The Manteca Little League champion also captured the first Manteca City Tournament title and completes its season with a 29-1 record.

The Tigers did well to make a game of it late after falling behind 5-0.

Ace pitcher Ryan Ward handcuffed Tracy American early, striking out eight and allowing one hit in four innings. He was spotted the five-run lead in the second inning, getting offensive support from Angelo Nunez, Moon and himself.

Dylan Gross threw the final two frames for Manteca and earned the win. Gross struggled with his command and allowed four runs, including the equalizer, to score in the top of the sixth, but he got out of the jam with a strikeout.
