Manteca Unified School District’s 2013 graduation season will be ushered in on Friday with three culmination ceremonies scheduled that day.

The three are the Manteca Adult School group with the lucky students receiving their school diplomas in ceremonies to be held in the administration building of the school district offices on West Louise Avenue at the corner South Airport Way. The awarding of diplomas will begin at 10 a.m. For the third year in a row, the event will be held at the district office complex where the Adult School has been relocated since Lindbergh School was forced to close due to budget cuts.

In the evening on Friday, the school districts’ two continuation schools – Calla High on East Highway 120 at Austin Road and New Vision in Weston Ranch – will have their graduation exercises both starting at 7 p.m. New Vision’s ceremonies will be held in the school gym, while Calla High graduates will march to the state for their diplomas at Crossroads Grace Community Church on Moffat Avenue in Manteca.

Three of Manteca Unified’s five traditional high schools – East Union, Manteca High, and Weston Ranch High – will have their graduation exercises on Thursday, May 23, all starting at 7 p.m. in their respective stadiums. The other two – Sierra High in Manteca and Lathrop High – will take place Friday, May 24, also starting at 7 p.m. on their respective campuses.
