Farmers market returns to Library Park Tuesday

Three different forms of entertainment will be part of this Tuesday’s Downtown Manteca farmers market that takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Library Park.

They are:

•Universal Dance Company from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

•Charles Kautzer from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

•Manteca Youth Focus from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Janis Music Company is coordinating the entertainment for the farmers market that runs through the end of August.

This Tuesday’s event is Kids Day with a variety of activities aimed at the younger set. Kids Day is sponsored by Best Buy Manteca.

The first 100 people to present the coupon on this page to the M&L Campuzano Farms booth will receive free zucchini

Manteca’s downtown certified farmers market is staged by the Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Some of the farms are:

•Depalma Farms selling peaches, nectarines, nuts, olives, plums, corn and more

•Yang Farms selling strawberries

•Fisher Farms selling apricots, pluots, plums, apples, pears, grapes, peaches, and tomatoes

•M & L Campuzano Farms selling tomatoes, beans, squash, chilies, melons, onions and more

•Four K Farms selling natural and flavored almonds and walnuts, fruit spreads, fruit butters and almond butter, almond flour, dried fruit, English cucumbers, and tomatoes

•Chinchiolo Farms selling apples, cherries, pluots, peaches, and nectarines

Among the food vendors are Di Venci’s Deli providing fresh pasta; Andersons 209 serving hot dogs, chips, and Icee(s); and Mac Doogles selling kettlekorn.
