The Manteca Branch Library is partnering with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program to bring free 2009 income tax assistance.
The VITA program offers free income tax help to low- or moderate- income families and individuals in San Joaquin County. The Library also has income tax forms available to the public.
This tax assistance program is being offered starting Feb. 1 through April 12 at the Manteca Branch Library, on Mondays from noon to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. No appointment is needed.
