 The strain of “Pomp and Circumstance” announced the entrance of some 80 Neil Hafley students to the school’s outdoor quad Tuesday morning for their formal promotion ceremonies before a standing room amphitheater crowd of friends and relatives.
Student Council President Pamela Mejia was tapped to give the opening address to her fellow students and their parents.  Other student council members were Amaiya Guyton, vice president; Ivy Ames, secretary and Prissila Afre, treasurer.  
Vice Principal Gena King recognized the honor students and the citizenship and achievement awards were presented by Mrs. Melanie Smith, Steve Schluer, school board president along with trustees Mrs. Kathy Howe and Mr. Michael Seeley.
The closing student speech was presented by Denae Wilson.
