Diane Marie Beattie, 72 of Salida passed away Sunday, September 11th at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
   Mrs. Beattie was born in Carmel and was a resident of Salida for 16 years, and Manteca for 17 years. She was a dental office manager for 30 years. She was a parishioner of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Modesto. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She especially enjoyed spending time at the coast with her siblings, children and grandchildren. She was a giving and loving soul, selflessly dedicating her time to helping and caring for others.
   Mrs. Beattie is survived by her husband, Clark Beattie of Salida; sons, Tim Beattie of Cincinnati, OH, Scott Beattie of San Ramon and Frank Beattie of Bakersfield; daughter, Julie Kimbrough of Aptos; brother, David Souza of Antelope; sisters, Carol Fantazia of Turlock, Sylvia Nunes of San Martin and six grandchildren: Brendan Beattie, Brooke Beattie, Gavin Kimbrough, Autumn Kimbrough, Gabrielle Roberts-Beattie and Amelia Roberts-Beattie.
   A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 26th, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, in Modesto. Inurnment will be private. Donations may be made to: the Diane Beattie Giving Heart Fund via Stanislaus County Parent Resource Center, 811 5th Street, Modesto, CA 95351.
