Edith K. Johnson, 91 entered into rest, Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Stockton, CA. She was born in Alabama, February 28, 1925 to the late Ethel and Claude White. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charlie Johnson (2000), sons Tim Johnson (1979) and Larry Johnson (2010), grandson Steven Johnson (2015), and her four younger brothers.
   Mrs. Johnson leaves behind four sons, Charles Johnson and wife Nancy, Gene Johnson, Marvin Johnson and wife Carol, all of Manteca, and Ron Johnson of Redding, CA, 22 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind daughter-in-Law Diane Johnson of French Camp and numerous extended family members.
   A resident of Manteca for over 50 years, Edith was a hard working woman. She treasured her family beyond measure and enjoyed family gatherings and going to church. She had a passion for cooking and an amazing “green thumb” with her roses.
   Fry Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Johnson family.  Funeral services will be held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Park View Cemetery.
