William E. “Billy” Olsen, 63, passed away May 9 at UCSF in San Francisco. He was born     June 25, 1945 in Stockton.

Bill resided in Manteca for 52 years.

He was preceded in death by parents William and Bernice Olsen.

He is survived by cousins Dorene Bahr of Stockton, William D. Molen of  Stockton, Delaine Thomas of Stockton, Neva Brechtel of Stockton, Stacie McClure of Modesto, Chris Molen of Stockton, Tony Molen of Stockton, Curtis Molen of Stockton, Scott Thomas of Stockton, and Ryan Thomas of Stockton.

Billy owned and operated Manteca Auto Parts from 1970 until the mid-80s.  He had also worked previously at Spreckels Sugar, Dana Corporation and Kamps Propane, all in Manteca.  He was a former member of the “Pacific Pacers Car Club” and was currently a member of the “Nuts and Bolts Car Club” in Manteca.  He enjoyed working on computers.

Visitation is Wednesday, May 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.

Chapel Service is Thursday, May 14, at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Final resting place is at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
