What Communist Party wants for America

 Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

A recent letter to the editor complained about the discussion of the 45 points of the “Democratic Party Manifesto” as published in the Congressional Record.  The anger and name calling even led to the wish that those who agreed with that discussion would be placed in mental hospitals.

During the back and forth on the Bulletin blog, Anthony - an admitted anti-conservative - listed a link to the www.cpusa.org where it was easy to learn about the current communist party.

Under the heading “What Does the Communist Party stand for?” it says, “We believe that the American people can replace capitalism with a system that puts people before profit – socialism. The web page goes on to say, “We call for nationalization of the banks, railroads and industries like steel and auto.”  The  information goes on to include who the communist party works with noting, “We work in a coalition with the labor movement, the peace movement, the student movement, organizations fighting for equality and social injustice, the environmental movement, immigrants rights groups and the health care for all campaign.” It further states in the last sentence of that paragraph that “our outlook is based on the social science of Marxism-Leninism. We study history, politics and economics in order to change the world.”

This could lead one to believe that the study of The Communist Manifesto which states a more in-depth disclosure of the communists’ plans for America could be of concern. Seeing 45 points of those plans as part of a Democratic Party Manifesto could be very disconcerting. So why all the outrage from the left? Could it be that this is not information they wanted the public to know... or could it be that most supporters of the party have no clue of the real party agenda?

A closer look at the web site will reveal under the heading, “What has the Communist Party Accomplished?”  gives a more direct link to the Democratic Party.   “Communists helped organize the great industrial unions including steel, meatpacking and auto industry.”   It makes no sense to see that the associations that are affiliated with the Democratic Party do in fact bring a communist bias to the party.  This would bring normal people to question why the comments from the left were so angry and attacking persons who just present the truth.

The direction of this President and his party must lead voters to question what is really going on in this government.
