Students of the ROP Fashion Merchandising class at Lindbergh Educational Center are presenting their 2010 fashion show “The Premiere Runway Show,” on Saturday, Feb. 27, in the auditorium at Lindbergh Educational Center, 311 E. North Street.
The event will be featuring high school students as models from Sierra, Manteca, East Union, and Lathrop high schools. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for social/ entertainment hour, and show starts at 7 p.m. Admission tickets are $5 and they are available to purchase from any Fashion Merchandising student or by calling (209) 601-6651.
Formal dresses shown on the runway are from the “dress exchange” party held Feb. 13 at Lindbergh. All female models participating in the show were required to share their personal dresses out of their own closet. Some dresses are being provided by Clothes Avenue, 1255 Yosemite Ave., Manteca and all male models are wearing tuxedos provided by Formal Connection, 110 North Main Street, Manteca.
During intermission, the audience will be entertained by local high school dancers, All Time High aka A.T.H. Desserts and beverages for the event are provided by the ROP Culinary Students and the ROP Administration of Justice Students are keeping watch as security for the event.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the ROP Fashion Merchandising students attending the annual field trip to the Los Angeles area.
Students will be touring the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising campus, and while there they will be attending the Debut Fashion Show 2010.
