Red, White & Brew Wine and Beerfest returns to the scene on March 19 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting Give Every Child a Chance’s free Tutor Program.

Give Every Child a Chance believes every youngster should be afforded the opportunity to be successful.

In order to do so, the local mentor / tutor program rely on the support of volunteers along with a few fundraisers.

Included is the Red, White & Brew Wine and Beerfest, returning to the scene for the first time since 2019.

The sixth annual event will take place on Saturday, March 19, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the MRPS Hall, 113 N. Grant Ave., Manteca.

Cost is $35 for the advance general entry (designated driver is available for another $10) and $40 at the door per general entry (add $15 for a designated driver).

All of the proceeds from Red, White & Brew will benefit GECAC’s free Tutor Program.

“We look forward to featuring local breweries and wineries from Central California and beyond,” said Marketing / Special Events Coordinator Sam Worthington in her press release on Thursday.

Besides an unlimited sampling of beer, wine and cider, the event will also feature vendors, raffle, lawn games, and entertainment.

Serving as the event sponsors are Leprino Foods, Chicken Ranch Tribal Council, South San Joaquin Irrigation District, Trueb & Becker Dental Group, Golden Valley Federal Credit Union, Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 104, and PPLSI.
