Gerald Lyle Wiggen 67, entered into rest on September 5, 2010 in Manteca. He was born in Rockford, Illinois on August 10, 1943 to the late Mr. Raymond C. and Laverne (Boehm) Wiggen.

He leaves behind his daughter Jessica Wiggen of Stockton. He is a brother to Gloria Kuehn, Cliff Wiggen and Steven Wiggen.  He was also blessed with four grandchildren.

Gerald known to his friends and family by ”Jerry” was a one of a kind all American soldier serving his country for more than 12 years. During his service he was stationed in different parts of the world including Germany, Korea, Louisiana and Alaska. He was a proud active member of the VFW and The American Legion. He supported the Boys and Girls Club in the area. He was a retired postal worker and made Manteca his home to care for his mother.  Gerald will be remembered a loving father, brother, son and friend and as a soldier that has always been there for his country.

Arrangements for Mr. Wiggen’s services are under the direction of PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road in Manteca.  An on-line guestbook/tribute wall is available for special messages and condolences at www.plfryandson.com.

All services are private.  Gerald Lyle Wiggen will be laid to rest with full military honors at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road in Gustine, California.
