Greg Griffith, 48, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Manteca. He was born on July 4, 1962 in Tracy and was a lifetime resident of Manteca. He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years Lisa Griffith.
He is survived by his parents, Harold and Mary Griffith of Manteca; children, Heather Griffith and Aaron Griffith of Manteca; siblings, sister, Vicki Griffith-Gardner and brother-in-law Steve Gardner of Modesto; sister, Lisa Strong and brother-in-law, Myron Strong of Ripon; grandchildren, Emily Lisa Silva and Eddie Cirilio Silva; many nieces and nephews.
Greg was a full-time truck driver operating all types of big rigs both local and long haul. He graduated in 1980 from Manteca High School, where he received his letters in football. He was listed in the “Who’s Who” in American High Schools for mathematical abilities.
