Rufus Lazard 88, entered into rest on July 30, 2010 in Manteca. He was born on August 10, 1921 in Glenmore, Louisiana. He joins his parents in heaven the late Mr. Louis and Mrs. Eliza Lazard as well as daughter Mary Ellen Punneo and sister Effie Millie.

 Rufus leaves behind his children; Rudy M. Lazard of Manteca, Doug Lazard of Texas and Aloma Lazard of North Carolina. In addition Rufus was blessed with 8 grandchildren.

 Rufus proudly served his country for 2 years through the US Army.

 Services for Mr. Lazard are being handled by P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home of Manteca. He will be laid to rest privately at East Union Cemetery in Manteca. An on-line tribute wall is available for condolences at www.plfryandson.com
