The letter in Saturday’s paper headlined (“Democrats’ cozy dealings with NAMBLA” by Frank Aquila) was astounding. NAMBLA is the North American Man Boy Love Association for those who did not see the letter and it showed its ties to the Democratic Party. I thought to myself how could this be true and how can people even support such an organization. For my second thought, I had to look no further than the Manteca Bulletin blog. Many of our local Democrats took their hate and venom directly toward Mr. Aquila for bringing up the issue. Other Democrats defended NAMBLA with such statements from momo on the blog, “I am pointing out that a homosexual is no more a pedophile than a straight person is a beastophile” Other Democrats claimed Mr. Aquila’s letter was not true and NAMBLA did not exist with one blogger named Mhoffman stating “NAMBLA actually exists.” Guess what, it doesn’t. It is a punch line, a joke. One frequently used in programs such as ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘South Park” and then referred NAMBLA existing like Santa Claus. I decided to check out NAMBLA for myself and looked up their website. Sure enough, there they were and they do not run away or hide from their Man-Boy Love Connection. They even address their goal as: “NAMBLA’s goal is to end the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships by: building understanding and support for such relationships; educating the general public on the benevolent nature of man/boy love; cooperating with lesbian, gay, feminist, and other liberation movements; supporting the liberation of persons of all ages from sexual prejudice and oppression. Our membership is open to everyone sympathetic to man/boy love and personal freedom.”
I thought it is a crime for any adult to involve himself in a sexual relationship with a child. I do not understand how the Democrats in this city can defend NAMBLA and take their hatred out on Mr. Aquila for exposing the truth. I do not understand why President Obama has promoted a person who admires an advocate for NAMBLA as our Safe School Czar. This man should be fired and the Democrats who support and defend NAMBLA should be ashamed of themselves. I hope no little boys live near your home.
