7 inches gone from my waist

Day 78

Ate clean! Worked out! If only everyday was this simple! Definitely preparing my food on Sundays helps to get the week off to a great start.

Day 79

Ate clean! Worked out! Two days in a row! Woohoo!! If tonight’s  workout was meant to burn out your shoulders and arms then mission accomplished. It is utterly amazing how heavy a 10-pound dumbbell can feel at the end of a workout.

Day 80

I was having a conversation with some coworkers today about how I have lost seven inches off of my waist.  It definitely is a good feeling, but it also a bit disconcerting to think that I had seven inches to lose off of my waist and that I still have several more inches to go! I actually pulled out a measuring tape today and visualized seven inches … no wonder my pants didn’t fit. Workout tonight – did we really have to do arms again tonight after last night? And what the heck are those little yellow bars that Robert brought into the gym to do push-ups and dips with?

Day 81

Didn’t make it to the gym tonight. Got home late from work and it was my daughters’ birthdays. One thing I really have learned how to do though is to order much better off of a menu!

Day 82

Happy 46th birthday to me. Every week when I weigh in, Robert has to input my age. I asked him the other day if turning 46 was going to help with any of my percentages or measurements. Hey, I’m looking for any advantage I can get! I was a little bummed when he told me it didn’t matter. I did have a slice or two of birthday cake tonight. Hard to resist when mom makes your favorite cake.

Day 83

I’ve decided that I really dislike weekends. They are just too unstructured and I have freedom as to when, where, and what I am going to eat.

Day 84

Back at a volleyball tournament today. It’s already been a two-protein-bar kind of morning and it is only 9 a.m. I am striving to get in some walking time in between matches today and not just sit around and visit all day.
