Burlington’s new Manteca store in the Stadium Retail Center is staging a grand opening on Friday, May 22, at 8:45 a.m.
The off-price retailer’s existing location in the Mission Ridge Shopping Center on South Main Street will eventually be repurposed as a Hobby Lobby.
To celebrate the grand opening at 2210 Daniels Street, Burlington will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and present a $5,000 donation to teachers at Brock Elliott Elementary School to support local education and the community.
This will be Burlington’s 129th store to open in California.
The new location features Burlington’s reimagined store design, which reflects Burlington’s broader strategy to modernize stores, making it easier for shoppers to find the brands they know and love.
In 2026, Burlington plans to open 110 net new stores across the country, all featuring this refreshed format. Wider, more organized aisles and bold signage allow for easier store navigation to the latest must-have trends.
Over half of the brand’s existing locations have already converted to the new layout, with the balance of the stores expected to transition by the end of 2026.
“Delivering incredible value on brand-name and on-trend merchandise is at the heart of what we do,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores.
“Opening a new, modernized store in Manteca is an exciting step for us as we continue expanding Burlington locations nationwide. We look forward to giving local Manteca customers the chance to explore great savings, find fresh brands, and experience our new and improved store design.”
On Friday and Saturday May 22 and 23 following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the first 100 customers, aged 18 and up, will receive a $10 bonus card to be used toward their purchases.
Store hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from, 9 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
