Antonio Tony Duenas
June 27, 1980 to August 19, 2011
Duenas 001a

Antonio “Tony” Duenas, 31, entered into rest on Friday, August 19, 2011 in Modesto, the same city he was born in on June 27, 1980. Tony joins his grandparents in heaven Sunday Limas and Anselmo Duenas.

Tony leaves behind his adored elementary school sweetheart Paula Reynoso and their children; Janessa, Jasmine, Julien and Antonio Duenas all of Manteca. His loving parents are Felix Duenas of Manteca and Lydia Duenas Deleon of Manteca. He is the loving brother of Felix Jr. and Mary Duenas both of Manteca. He was an amazing uncle to Felix Duenas III, Raquel Duenas, Araceli Duenas and Geonna Flores. Tony also leaves behind his grandparents Mary Duenas and Raymond Lima as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tony was a longtime Manteca resident attending Sequoia School and continuing onto Manteca High. He loved his children, who were his pride and joy. Tony’s family meant the world to him as he had an extra special relationship with his grandparents Anselmo and Mary Duenas. Tony enjoyed watching football as he was a “die hard” Raider fan. He enjoyed late afternoon basketball games with his children and nephews. Tony never missed a family barbeque as he was always coming up with the next best recipe. He was known for his great cooking and would always have enough for the entire neighborhood. Tony’s passion was fishing and as a good fisherman he would often tell stories about his latest catch, which always ended up being a bigger fish than the last one caught. Tony will be remembered for being a loving companion, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. Until we meet again Tony your smile will remain in our hearts forever.
