Bloodgood, Beck have great ideas to make golf course even better

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
I am sure you are aware of the situation at the Manteca Golf Course regarding a new contract for the course management. The last council meeting was to vote on the recommendation of a new golf pro from Livermore. After several community members speaking against that decision and, in favor of the two gentlemen that have been employed at the course for 15 years each, the vote was delayed.
Myself along with many, many community members are hoping that an article can be printed on behalf of the current employees, Wes Bloodgood and Brent Beck. It seems that they have not been given the opportunity to show the council members, and the “committee” that has voted for the pro from Livermore, that they have been running the course for almost 2 years and have not skipped a beat.
Wes Bloodgood and Brent Beck are hometown residents since they were born and have worked for the late Alan Thomas for 15 years each. They are well aware of what it takes to run a successful golf course and have some great ideas for making the course even better.
Thank you for your time and hope to see that you will follow up on this if possible.
