Dont expand government for health care

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
I am writing to take a stand on health care.  In its present form, I am against it.  I stand for less government, not more.  I want to make my own decisions and not have a government make them for me.

There are way too many problems with the current bill and it will cost too much in a time when we just cannot afford it.  Have you taken the time to read it?  Do you really know what it says?  Have our representatives read it?  I doubt it. It is not the morally right thing to do.  I don’t want the government telling me if I can or cannot receive cancer treatments.  I don’t want the government saying I am too old to receive treatment.  I do not want the government paying for abortions.  I do not want the government telling my doctor what kind of treatment I can get or how much he can be paid.

There are too many problems with the existing bill.  Our representative’s phone number is 202-225-1947.  If you agree with me, call him and let him know.  He’s supposed to work for the people and not the Democratic Party.
