Lathrop High School Friday Night Live Club in conjunction with the Theatre Arts Department is conducting the 3rd annual Dia de los Muertos Carnival and Casa De Los Muertos Haunted House.

The annual event will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. on both evenings.

They expanded by partnering with both the Hispanic Youth Leadership Council and the Lathrop High Dream Club for an even larger event.

The Casa de los Muertos, or Haunted House, will take place in the Lathrop High School Performing Arts Theater.The cost is $5 per person. Contact Ms. Rosen at hrosen.musd.net for group sales.

The carnival takes place in the passage way in-between the theater and cafeteria at Lathrop High School, 647 Spartan Way, Lathrop. Various student clubs will be hosting an array of carnival games and selling food items. Additionally, the Hispanic Youth Leadership Council will be having sugar skull decorating among other Day of the Dead related activities.
