Anne Marie Klutts, a beloved mother, wife and grandmother passed away on November 18, 2023. Born in New Jersey on February 26, 1931, Anne made Manteca her home for 56 years, where she built a life full of love, community service, and business success.

Anne is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Jim Klutts, her son Bruce Baxter, daughter Robin Bradshaw, seven grandchildren, David, Aaron, Sarah, Heather, Ian, Emily, and Trenton, and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Maria Yannotta, and her sons Greg and Doug Baxter.

Anne's passion for animals exemplified in her 27-year tenure as the proprietor of the Tropic Hut, a much- loved pet store on Yosemite Avenue. Her leadership extended beyond her business into the community, through her involvement with the Soroptimist of Manteca and her past leadership role in the Manteca Merchant Chamber of Commerce.  Known affectionately as the 'Scrabble Queen,' Anne enjoyed challenging family and friends to games she rarely lost. She loved cooking for her family, trips to the snow, and spending cherished moments with her loved ones.

Anne was known for her characteristic ability to nurture and support those around her. Her caregiving qualities were a testament of her kind heart.  She will be remembered for her strength, intelligence and her unconditional love.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Klutts family. For direct condolences to the family, visit Ann’s tribute page at www.plfryandson.com
