Charles A. Grissom Jr., 26, of Stockton died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at his home in Stockton. Charles (C.J.) was born in Manteca and attended schools in Manteca. He was employed by Labor Ready in Stockton and Lodi.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Grisssom, and three step-children of Placerville. A son, Anthony Grissom, and a daughter, Areianna Grissom of Placerville; his father, Charles A. Grissom Sr. of Manteca; his mother and step-father, Suzy and Richard Cantu of Tracy; his sisters, Debra (John) Gacanich of Pioneer, Candis (Terry) Wimmer of Stockton, Anna (Greg) Gayle of Sonora, Amanda Grissom of Modesto, and Carley Grissom of French Camp; grandparents, Charles and Betty Geahry of Stockton, Darlene Grissom, and Charles R. and Ruth Grissom, of Manteca; aunts and uncles, Candis (Tom) Martin of Sacramento; James Elliott and Jerry Elliott of Stockton; and his special friend Amanda Rhoades.

A Celebration of Life ceremony to be held Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. Park View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA 95336.
